Nepal

that have developed from the marriage of two major religion of
the world "Buddhism Hinduism". Nepal is a trekker's paradise. It
offers the most spectacular mountains scenery in the world with
more than a dozen of the highest mountains on earth including
the highest mountain Mt. Everest.
Facts for the Traveller:

Indian Nationals visiting Nepal
should have a valid passport or Voters ID with
photograph being pasted in the Voters Identity card. All
other identifications are not acceptable by the
immigration authorities.

All
foreigners (except Indian nationals) require visas,
which can be obtained in advance or on arrival.
Single-entry tourist visas are issued for up to 60 days
and can be extended for a maximum of three months. Visas
permit travel around the Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara and
Chitwan National Park in the Terai.

Trekking
permits are required if you intend striking out from the
main areas; they can be obtained from immigration
offices in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

It is illegal to carry denominations
of more than 100 Rupee Indian Currency notes. Any other
denominations of INR500 or INR1000 is illegal and will
be confiscated and punishable.

Health
risks: altitude sickness, hepatitis, malaria (This
occurs in low-lying areas only), meningococcal
meningitis (This occurs in the Kathmandu Valley region),
typhoid.
