The Seychelles is a group of about 115 islands which lie 1600 km off the
coast of East Africa. Seychelles comprise of 41 spectacular granitic
islands, and 74 sparkling sand cays and atolls. Together these
form 6 distinct group The Inner Islands, The Amirantes, Southern Coral,
Alphonse, Farquhar, and Aldabra all lying between 480 km and 1600 km
from East African coast.
Seychelles 115 island fall into two distinct groups, the granitic Inner
Islands and Outer Islands.
Seychelles Inner Island:
The granitic islands of Mahe, Praslin, and La Digue together with their
satellites form the cultural heart of the archipelago and is the Gateway to
Seychelles and home to the International Airport.
Seychelles Outer Island:
The Outer Island are situated beyond the Seychelles plateau comprising
of 73 low lying islands between 230km and 1150 km from Mahe. Only
two islands among the Outer Island groups, Alphonse and Desroches offers
accommodation.

Getting there:
By Air: The
Seychelles, a group of over one hundred islands in the Indian Ocean. Air
Seychelles is the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles. Every
week, Air Seychelles connects Mahe with 4 European capitals and 3 major
cities around the Indian Ocean. Air Seychelles operates numerous
inter-island flights every day.
On arrival, visitors can use the Air Seychelles shuttle service to fly
to Praslin. Air Seychelles operates other inter-island flights usually
on the request of hotel to Bird Island, , Desroches Island, Alphonse
Island. There is a helicopter service between Mahé, the main island,
Silhouette, Fregate and North Island.

Entry Formalities:
Irrespective of the nationality of the visitor and his or
her family members, there are NO VISA requirements to enter
Seychelles. However, the following documents must be shown
in order to obtain immigration clearance at the Seychelles
International Airport:

valid on the date of entry to and exit from Seychelles

accommodation; including contact details

Sufficient
funds for the duration of the stay
Presentation of
all of the above documents will grant you a Visitor’s Permit
that will be issued upon arrival by the Seychelles
Department of Immigration.
The Visitor’s Permit is initially
valid for the period of visit of up to one month.

Praslin lies 44 km to the North
East of Mahe. The island features exquisite beaches
such as Anse Boudin, Anse Georgette, Anse Lazio,

La Digue is the fourth largest
island in Seychelles. The La Digue Island is home to
the rare Seychelles black paradise flycatcher. The
island features legendary beaches such as Anse

Cousin Island lies
South West of Praslin. It is home to Seychelles rarest bird,
such as The Seychelles Bush Warbler and The
Seychelles Magpie Robin. |

Curieuse Island is located
North West of Praslin. The Island boasts an endemic
vine, eight different species of mangroves. Curieuse
is home to the exciting giant land tortoise as well
as the Coco de mer which grows naturally on the
Curieuse Island. |

of Ste. Anne Marine National Park, is located 4 km
East Coast of Mahe and is close proximity to Cerf
