Take a guided tour of the Cellular jail and scout the creepy alleys and corridor of this scary place and get to know more about the tyrannical treatment faced by the freedom fighters. You have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy the sunshine at Corbyn’s Cove Beach. Drive back to the Cellular Jail for the Light & Sound Show, a perfect introduction to India before Independence and the freedom struggle. Overnight in Port Blair.
We have an amazing adventure in-store today. Sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful sights of the Ross Island and North Bay Island on a cruise. Discover the rare and beautiful Coral reefs of North island through a glass-bottom boat. Perhaps, you can try snorkeling which is an optional activity. Overnight stay in Port Blair.
After breakfast, you are taken on a sightseeing tour of Port Blair starting with the Saw Mill. One of the ‘must-do’ tours in Port Blair is a visit to the Mount Harriet, situated at the Mount Harriet National Park, where you have the opportunity to view the Island from the highest point, get up close and personal with Andaman’s incredible flora and fauna. From the park, we are off to have lunch. This afternoon we witness a breathtaking Chidiya Tapu Sunset. Pick the perfect spot and settle in to witness Chidiya Tapu’s majestic presence as it changes colors right before your eyes. The rest of the day is at your leisure for shopping. Ross Island is one of the most renowned places to visit in Port Blair. You would see the British Vestiges here that include a bakery and an old church. Other key attractions of this island include the splendid Ferrar beach, deers, a museum, and Japanese bunkers built during the Japanese occupation of the island during the Second World War.
Chidiya Tapu is an Island located just 17 kilometers from Port Blair and is famous for bird watching, sightseeing, and photography. It is one of the top tourist attractions in Andaman especially for those who love to watch birds. The island is hemmed by dense mangrove forests and plays host to a number of different species of birds. Besides, bird watching and the enchanting natural setting, you can get a grand view of the sunset here.
Located 42 kilometers away from Port Blair, Mount Harriet is situated at the Mount Harriet National Park. The park is ringed by a veritable collection of 393 plant species. It is home to an astounding 90 different species of mammals and birds. You can see some unique varieties of reptiles, moths, marine turtles, elephants, etc, Catching the sunset from this point is an attraction that many tourists do not want to miss. It is very much enjoyable to stroll around in this park.
The underwater sea walk at North Bay Island is an amazing experience that’s worth every penny spent and one would not want to miss. The alluring coral reefs, the old lighthouse and an array of water sports like scuba diving, sea walking, snorkelling, etc, make this island a famous tourist place. However, the sea walk is what makes it a distinct island in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Experiencing diverse marine life while walking o the seafloor is an amazing experience. You can spot various types of fish, coral reefs, lobsters and more marine life. The sea here has a maximum depth of 25-feet.
