Overview

A full day city tour and transportation to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, are included in the programme. Tsomgo Lake and the 13–200 foot landmark Baba Mandir are included in the day's activities. The journey includes stops to the Institute of Tibetology, Bakthang Falls, Ganesh and Hanuman Tok, Tashi Viewpoint, Enchey Monastery, Cottage Industry, Dro-dul Chorten, Flower Show, and Handicraft Centre. The tour continues the following day in Darjeeling, where visitors explore Tiger Hill and the Mall. Along with the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre, Tea Garden, Japanese Temple, and Peace Pagoda, the tour also visits the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After a journey to Kalimpong, the tour comes to a finish. There, visitors explore Dr. Graham's Home, MangalDham, Deolo Hill,  Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills, and Flowers Nurseries.

Day 01: Arrival and Leisure Time in Gangtok

Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, embark on a scenic 4-hour drive to Gangtok, the charming capital of Sikkim (5,480 ft.). Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Explore the vibrant M.G. Marg and the city on your own. Spend a comfortable overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 02: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir Expedition

Indulge in a delectable breakfast before setting off on an enchanting expedition to Tsomgo Lake, situated at an altitude of 12,400 feet, and Baba Mandir (Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial) at 13,200 feet. Day 04: Gangtok to Pelling with Sightseeing

Upon arrival, complete the check-in process at your hotel and take the remainder of the day to unwind at your own pace. Explore the Mall independently in the evening, soaking in the local ambiance. Day 06: Darjeeling's Local Attractions

Day 07: Darjeeling to Kalimpong with Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). Upon arrival, complete your check-in at the hotel and commence a half-day exploration of Kalimpong. Tour notable attractions such as MangalDham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills, and Flower Nurseries. Unwind and enjoy a tranquil night in the charming town of Kalimpong.

Day 08: Departure from Kalimpong

TIGER HILL: tiger hill a destination by itself offering not just great views during sunrise; its a place where you can soak yourself with Himalayan serenity anytime during the day. 

BATASIA LOOP: Batasia Loop is fascinating to watch the toy train with its way round the loop.

TSOMGO LAKE: Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo Lake or Changgu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometres from the capital Gangtok. 

BABA MANDIR: Baba Harbajan Singh Memorial Temple, located between Nathula and Jelepla passes, is a memorial built in his memory. Legend says he appeared to colleagues in dreams after disappearing, expressing a desire for a Samadhi. Located near Chhokya Chho, it is a popular pilgrimage site.

TASHI VIEW POINT: This charming little Tashi View Point is a perfect place to witness the brilliant surroundings like mountains, valleys and Gangtok itself.

GANESH TOK:  You can pay obeisance to Lord Ganesha in this temple and enjoy the lovely view of the valley after you reach at the top of the hill experiencing the divine surroundings.

HANUMAN TOK: Hanuman Tok is a Hindu temple complex which is located in the upper reaches of Gangtok, the capital of the Indian state of Sikkim. The temple is dedicated to lord Hanuman, and maintained by the Indian army.

ENCHEY MONASTERY:  The Enchey Monastery was established in 1909 above Gangtok. It belongs to the Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism. The monastery built around the then small hamlet of Gangtok became a religious centre.

BAKTHANG FALLS: Bakthang waterfall is a beautiful waterfall nearby Gangtok. The water is Cristal clear and the view of the scenery is just too good. 

DO-DURL CHORTEN: Do-drul Chorten is a stupa in Gangtok. The stupa was built by Trulshik Rinpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism in 1945. Inside this stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur and other religious objects. Around the stupa are 108 Mani Lhakor or prayer wheels.

RABDANTSE RUINS: Rabdentse was the second capital of the former Kingdom of Sikkim from 1670 to 1814. The capital city was destroyed by the invading Gurkha army and only the ruins of the palace and the chortens are seen here now.

PEMAYANGTSE MONASTERY: This three storied building has many statues of saints and Rinpoches, including Padmasambhava (Lotus Born). It also has several antique idols and scriptures. The main prayer hall is decorated with paintings and also the doors and windows are beautifully painted in traditional Tibetan design.
