Arrive London Airport where you meet our representative and drive to the hotel. Overnight stay in London. By and Large, London is a widely visited city in the world. Throughout the land, the classic old age, the days of yore unfurls before you, soaked in history and culture.
Take a guided city tour of London visiting the major landmarks. Those include Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, London Bridge, St. Pauls Cathedral and Westminster Abbey. Afterward, watch the ‘Change of Guards’ at Buckingham Palace. After lunch visit Madame Tussauds wax museum. Later in the evening ride the London Eye for a stunning view of the city. Dinner and overnight in London. The Trafalgar Square honors Horatio Nelson who served the Royal Navy. It has beautiful fountains, pillars, and lion statues and street performers to entertain. Madame Tussauds is all about the wax dolls of famous and historic people, cartoon characters and a 4D theatre. The ever-whirling London Eye is Europe’s tallest Ferris and observation wheel and the best way to have great views of the city.
Today, a fun-filled day awaits Fantasy and Movie fanatics. Enjoy the first half of the day at Warner Bros Studios and Harry Potter World. After lunch, we see the Tower of London, an architectural masterpiece of London, loaded with a rich history. Later in the evening, explore shopping avenues. Dinner and overnight stay in London. Warner Bros Studios is a must-visit for any Harry Potter fanatic. Even though you know nothing about Harry Potter, you will thoroughly enjoy this trip. Drive to York. Arrive and have lunch at an Indian restaurant. Post lunch, take a guided city tour of York which includes a visit to York Minster Cathedral. Later you are up for a walking tour of York with your guide. Leave York and drive to Leeds. Overnight stay in Leeds. The cathedral is worth every Cent. The very look of the Cathedral is stunning with an ornate architecture, iconic pieces of artwork and décor and stained glass windows. You can spend hours looking at this majestic structure. On your walking tour of York, you will be accustomed to the history and stories behind the city. Abbeys, cathedrals, York houses and their well maintained gardens will be a predominant sight.
Drive to Edinburgh. Arrive and have Lunch at an Indian restaurant. Post lunch, take a guided city tour of Edinburgh which includes visit to Edinburgh Castle. Overnight in Edinburgh. The Edinburgh Castle is filled with history. Explore the castle and take in the incredible views of Edinburgh from the top.
After breakfast have time at leisure for your own activities. Today go for a Whisky Tasting Tour at Glenkinchie Whisky Distillery. Post lunch, drive to Glasgow. Gear up for a walking tour of Glasgow with your guide. Overnight stay in Glasgow. Walk Glasgow like a local, visiting the historical sites, music venues, street art etc.
Drive to Gretna Green. Enjoy cruising Lake Windmere. Drive to Manchester. Visit Manchester United Stadium. Later, spend time shopping until you transfer to airport for departure. The Manchester United stadium is a massive football stadium showcasing the Jerseys, large Trophy collection, dressing rooms etc. You can look for clothing, shoes and handmade items to shop in Manchester.
Best time to visit:
Late February and early March, flowerbeds in the parks start showing colour with huge explosions of yellow daffodils heralding the spring. By mid-September, it becomes quite chilly by the Thames at sunrise. By late October, the sight of almost every tree ablaze with colour is not to be missed. Autumn is everybody’s favourite season in London, with vibrant hues lighting up the city.
