Experience the Vibrant North which includes the Grand Baie, the epicentre of the north, situated on a wine-glass shaped sheltered bay around an emerald lagoon in the northwest, with more sandy coves and sunshine than anywhere else on the island. Nicknamed the Creole Cote D’Azur or ‘Le Trop’, it stretches three kilometres along the coastal road to Pereybere and has shopping, restaurants and the island best nightlife. Activities range from swimming with dolphins or an undersea walk, a tandem skydive etc. Optional excursions a submarine trip past ancient shipwrecks to a catamaran or speedboat cruise to the pristine northern island.
Iles aux Cerfs has terrific beaches, a golf course, and excellent restaurants. A tour here will enable you to relax, swim, snorkel and undertake other water sports for an additional fee.
