Arrive in Leh, where you meet our representative and drive to your hotel for check-in. Spend the mandatory acclimatisation day in the hotel. If you are fond of shopping, the local markets have got some fascinating local products. Late in the evening, explore the local markets offering good Tibetan jewellery, motifs, carpets, Woollen clothes, etc. Your dinner and overnight in Leh.
Start your sightseeing tour with a visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. In the afternoon, drive west of Leh to visit Hemis Monastery. On your way back visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock offering good views of the Indus Valley. Next, we drive through the series of chortens to visit Shey Palace, the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. Your dinner and overnight in Leh.
Today, drive to Khardungla Pass, the world's highest motorable road which is at 18,832 feet above sea level. Enjoy the great views and your filmy moments around the snow-capped peaks. The Khardungla Pass connects with Nubra Valley, a passage laid on the glacier which is extremely beautiful. The valley is green and photogenic. You could catch a glimpse of the Double - Humped Bactrian camels on your way to the campsite. See the sand dunes spread across the Hundur Village. Spend the night at the campsite paired with sumptuous dinner.
Depart to Diskit monastery, a 500-year-old one, perched on a hill providing an amazing view of the valley. Explore the town of Diskit a bit, which has a small local market and a giant Buddha sculpture. Next, drive along the beautiful Karakoram range to visit Samsthaling Monastery, Panamik village, famous for its sulphur hot springs and Yarab Tso Lake. Drive back to Leh through Khardungla pass. Your dinner and overnight in Leh.
After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake through Changla Pass. Pangong Lake is the highest saltwater Lake in the World, shared between India and China. Watch the lake change colour at different hours of the day. Overnight stay in camps at Pangong Lake. Enjoy at most silence on this high-altitude lake.
After breakfast, drive back and check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure. Explore the bazaars of the city. Your dinner and overnight in Leh.
