Today, drive to Khardungla Pass, the world's highest motorable road which is at 18,832 feet above sea level. Enjoy the great views and your filmy moments around the snow-capped peaks. The Khardungla Pass connects with Nubra Valley, a passage laid on the glacier which is extremely beautiful. The valley is green and photogenic. You could catch a glimpse of the Double - Humped Bactrian camels on your way to the campsite. See the sand dunes spread across the Hundur Village. Spend the night at the campsite paired with sumptuous dinner.
Depart to Diskit monastery, a 500-year-old one, perched on a hill providing an amazing view of the valley. Explore the town of Diskit a bit, which has a small local market and a giant Buddha sculpture. Next, drive along the beautiful Karakoram range to visit Samsthaling Monastery, Panamik village, famous for its sulphur hot springs and Yarab Tso Lake. Drive back to Leh through Khardungla pass.
