Stroll Paris’s historic Versailles Palace and the gardens, located southwest to the centre of Paris, Versailles was established by Louis XIV, when he decided to transform his father’s hunting lodge into a Palace. The Palace’s crowning glory, however, is its massive, court of 3000 residents and the Hall of Mirrors. It is surrounded by 800 hectares of finest Gardens in the global history. Transfer to the train station to board your train to Marseille. Begin the day with Marseille La Vieux Port (Old Port of Marseille), a beautifully isolated street in Marseille. Continue on foot and walk along to see, a vibrant small port with yatches and pleasure boats docked. Join your guide to venture into Vosges Mountain region to tour Cassis, enabling us to stop at key sights along the route. See the wonderful vistas that Cape Canaille has to offer. Arrive in Cassis, a charming fishing village. A leisurely start allows time for exploration of the quaint harbor and its delightful architecture. Calanques are the distinctive feature of this beautiful area in the Coast of French Riviera. Board the 45-minute cruise to view the Calanques, often termed as the ‘Fiords of the French Riviera’. Travel back to Marseille to have glimpse of the sites that make up the historic ‘heart of Marseille’. Followed by the historic tour, head to Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, a well-preserved Neo- Byzantine church that occupies Marseille’s highest point offering you the dramatic views of Mediterranean Sea and the Chateau d’If. Visit the 11th-century Abbey of St Victor before you depart to La Vieux Port to make a drive to Marseilles for overnight stay.
A short drive to the train station to board your train to Nice. Upon arrival, check into hotel and join your guide to tour Cannes and Antibes in the afternoon. A short drive to Cannes by private coach, the host of Annual Cannes Film Festival. Crinkle your toes in the sands of the Mediterranean shore, take a walk through the famous Croisette Boulevard and see the hand prints of countless film stars and the streets lined with shops. Explore Juan-les-Pins, taking a spa treatment(optional), visiting the local cafes and shops or simply take in the views from La Garoupe and spot celebrity homes on gorgeous Cap d’Antibes en route to the town of Antibes. Spend time in Antibes walking through the picturesque Old Town at your own pace. Stroll through narrow lanes to browse in boutiques, or head for the Picasso Museum (optional) (closed on Mondays) for a little culture. Head for Billionaire’s Quay near the 15th-century Fort Vauban to see nearly-priceless yachts moored just offshore. Drive back to Nice for overnight stay.
Drive towards French Rivera’s Eastern Coast, marvelling at scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast and take in views during various rest stops. Visit Eze, a hilltop village, to tour a perfumery en route Monaco. A day on foot in the colourful French Quarter, with its upscale casinos and yacht-lined harbour. Visit the Old Town of Monte Carlo which gives an overview of the city. Visit the cathedral, browse the exhibition of the Cousteau Oceanographic Museum at your own expense, or see the changing of the guard at the opulent palace (open April-October). Continue your tour with a lap around the Formula One Grand Prix circuit and then disembark at Casino Square to browse the high-end boutiques and stroll through the gardens. As you head back to Nice, drive along Ville Franche bay and other coastal villages. Overnight in Nice.
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and proceed to the station to board your train to Paris airport and board your flight back to India.
